How it Works:
Simply place one foam insert beneath stabilizer/switch stem before assembly.
Function:
During our recent keyboard design and testing processes, our team identified a common issue on a few larger, stabilized keys: slight keycap collision with the switch housing. Through careful analysis, we found this is often caused by a minor height discrepancy where the stabilizer stems do not sit perfectly level with the switch stem.
By installing these thin foam pieces under your stabilizer/switch stems, you can:
1-Prevent Keycap Collision: Eliminates the slight impact or rubbing of the keycap against the switch housing.
2-Improve Consistency: Ensures a smoother and more consistent feel across all your larger keys (like Spacebar, Shift, Enter, Backspace, Caps lock).
